TXS0206: Recommendation for SD level shift device supporting SDR104

Part Number: TXS0206

Dear,

Here we have a need for level shift in SD application. The voltage level in AP side is 1.8V, in SD side is 3.3V. It needs to support SDR104 standard, do we have such devices? Thanks.

And do we have a mapping table about SD speed standard to our different devices? Thanks.

  • Hello,

I don't think we have anything to support the SDR104 standard.

For the clock, that's 416 Mbps at 3.3V, which exceeds all of our translators maximum speeds.

The new AXC translators are rated for 380 Mbps from 1.8V to 3.3V, so they might function at that speed, but I can't say how reliable they would be.

The customer would also have to add direction control signals for the data lines.

As for a mapping table for SD standards and voltage translation, no, we don't really have that.  There's a voltage translation guide, and our parametric search includes some protocols that are supported, but only generally - not extremely specific protocols.
