SN74AVC8T245: Using 3.3V signal for OE pin High/Low control

Part Number: SN74AVC8T245
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SN74AXC8T245

Hello team,

I would like to have some advice about the voltage translation SN74AVC8T245.

In the customer’s circuit, SN74AVC8T245 is used at VCCA = 1.8v and VCCB = 3.3V.

They are willing to use a 3.3V signal (power supply on the VCCB side) for the High/Low controls of the OE pin. Is this okay?

According to Vih, Vil and Absolute Maximum Ratings in the data sheet, it seems to have no problem for a regulation on the MAX side.
I would like to have your opinion for it.
