SN74AVC16245: GND short fail safe?

Hello team,

I found some boards in my prototype has unintentional output GND short.

Does SN74AVC16245 have output protection circuit which allows it to endure output GND short?

I'd like to assess the risk.

There is no such protection. If a shorted output drives high, the current is likely to exceed the absolute maximum rating and to damage the device.
