Hello team,
For Vcc, the abs max current will be input clamp current 50mA. Is that understanding correct ?
Vcc would be input 12V instantly at start up.
With the above situation, input voltage would be over abs max but customer would like to know if it can be control by the external resistor for current limitation or not.
Thank you and best regards,
Michiaki
Hey Michiaki,
Input clamp current only applies to the inputs, not the supply pin. Applying 12 V to the Vcc pin can cause damage.
