SN74HC4060: Clock cycles and the Input frequency

Hi Team, posting for a customer, I hope you can help us clarify this.

Looking for is TI documentation for the two chips the 74HC4060 and the 74HC40103 which explains them in the same way. No documentation, figures out the clock cycles and the input frequency to figure out which pin they need to tap to get the division they need, the just look at something similar to what I provide and say, for example, I have a 4mHz signal coming in and if I want a 250 kHz signal out, they can use a 74HC4060 and use pin 7 to divide by 16.

Hi Mark,

I don't think we have any documentation on our end explaining how to turn a binary counter device into a clock divider, but that's a great idea, and I'll suggest to my team that we make some.
