SN74LVC2G07: VIH when VCC=2V?

Hi guys,

Working with a customer on this. We are using the SN74LVC2G07DBVR and in the application, VCC = 2.0V, and the expected VIH = 1.75V. Reading the datasheet, the VCC falls in-between the ranges, what is the VIH threshold at VCC=2V?

Should it be VCC*0.65?

For the nominal 2.5 V and 3.3 V ranges, the worst-case V_IH values are 74 % and 67 % of V_CC.

This FAQ tells you to use linear interpolation, but if you just use 75 % of V_CC, the resulting V_IH of 1.5 V is more than safe.

Even with worst case VIH=1.55V, I would still fall above the threshold of using 75% of VCC.

When interpolating, it seems that it would be safe to use VIH = 1.32V as my threshold.

With linear interpolation I get ~1.375 V which should be a fairly safe approximation for the VIH. 0.75% VCC (1.5V) works if you want to be even more conservative and safe with your estimations. If the 'expected' 1.75V you mentioned as VIH is what they expect the input to see, then they should be above the voltage either way.

Actually that was a typo, VIH = 1.55V. But it seems that this would work with my application anyway.
