Hi, Team,
When connecting two logic ICs(a IC's OUTPUT and another IC's INPUT), are there any precautions for connecting both directly?
Because; Now A customer is considering a circuit configuration that connects the output of 74AHC08 to the input of 74AHC32.
Customer is worried that if residual charge remains in the output of the 74AHC08 when the signal level switches momentarily, 74AHC32 will detect the voltage of that residual charge as an input and output the outputs the logic corresponding to the unintended input.
And in order to avoid such a problem, customer asks us if it is better to add a pull-down resistor at the input of AHC32.
Of course, customer don't want to add such a resister at all inputs.
Though I think it will not have an issue like customer’s concern to connect both ICs directly without a pull-down resister, do you have anything to advice about it?
