SN74LVC1G02: propagation delay

Hello Team,

the SN74LVC1G02 datasheet contains min. and max. value for the propagation delay.

  • Do we have the raw data out of the qualification, showing the distribution of the propagation delay?
  • Is it only within the same lot or lot by lot as well?

I take per grant that the parameter is tested, thus, beside the distribution, any unit within the same lot, different lot, or date code, will be within the max. and min. value in any case.

    Yes, propagation delay is tested.

    I would highly recommend against designing any system with typical or even collected char data as the basis for maintaining a certain delay in a logic gate.  We can legally ship a device that operates at any value within the datasheet provided range, and any char data I provide will not be a guarantee to protect against this.  You should _always_ design for the full range provided in the datasheet.


    That being said - if you want to get the full char report, please reach out to me via email and include the MIC NDA number for your customer so I can record it.
