TXB0304: Overshoot at TXBN0304RUTR output

Part Number: TXB0304

Hi everybody!

1) We use the TXB0304 chip to shift the CMOS level up to 3.3 V from 1.8 V.

Figure 2 shows T3/T4 short pulses (overshoots and undershoots) and low rate 1kOhm rising/faling edge. Why TXB0304 is not working properly?

We expected something like that

2) Why we have EMI pulses (crosstalk issue we think) from 1.8Tx SCLK side to 1.8Rx side?

  • Hey Evginy,

Well it does look like the TXB0304 is working properly as you pointed out in figure 2. However, its not suited to drive heavy loads which looks to be the case here. What's the capacitive load at the output? The waveform you want to imitate in 9.2.3 was taken with a 15 pF load.

It would help me to see a schematic of the circuit.
