Usually, we can only find min VIH in datasheet.

How can I know the tolerance of VIH?

This will be specified in the abs max table as the max Input Voltage.

Hi Rami，

Actually, I want to know the tolerance of Vt for standard CMOS input buffer.Usually, I can find Vt+ and Vt- in schmitt buffer datasheet.

But I can't find any information of Vt in tandard CMOS input buffer datasheet.Can you help me?

The actual threshold voltage can be anywhere between V_IL and V_IH. It is designed to be near V_CC / 2, but manufacturing variations, temperature, and aging can move it.

Hi Clemens:

Do you know the approximate range of threshold voltage for SN74LVC2G07? For example, V_CC / 2 ± 10% or VCC / 2 ± 20%.

Compare to schmitt buffer,whose tolerance is smaller?

For 5 V, the datasheet specifies V_IL(max) as 0.3 × V_CC and V_IH(min) as 0.7 × V_CC.

Therefore, the threshold voltage is V_CC / 2 ± 0.2 × V_CC = 2.5 V ± 1 V.

Schmitt-trigger inputs typically have smaller tolerances.
