Regarding the DIR and OE pin:
1. It is ok to connect them 1DIR and 2DIR with one pull up as below picture and control from 1 I/O of the MCU
2. It is ok to connect them 1nOE and 2nOE with one pull up as below picture and control from 1 I/O of the MCU
