TXB0108: Marking Code for TXB0108PWR

Part Number: TXB0108

Hi TI support team,

I would like to know the meaning of marking code on top of the package for TXB0108.

I got 2 chips but with different marking on there. May I know what do they mean for line2 & line3? And what do you call for this kind of format?

I saw previous post regarding marking and found a link below, but it seems no longer to work...

  • Hey Vincent,

The top side markings are used to help TI internally keep note of which facilities the device was created in, in case we need to backtrack anything. Below is how the information is laid out. These will still be the same chip however and I wouldn't be concerned about any differences in performance.

         +-----------------+        \T/ = TI LOGO
         !   YE08          !         YM  = YEAR/MONTH
         !   \T/YMSG4  !         S  = ASSY SITE
!   LLLL           !         LLLL  = LOT TRACE CODE
         +-----------------+

Here's more information on the G4 suffix as well : [FAQ] Why does a logic device's part number have an E4/G4 suffix?

    Thanks!
