This part is no longer sold by TI, but by Rochester Electronics. And this suffix is not in any datasheet revision I've found, so by now, nobody knows.

Just guessing: it might be a packaging variant, i.e., a different reel, or in a different orientation.

Yes, Inventory is by Rochester Electronics; however there is no information available to explain on -P.
