Hi team,

I am setting GPIO assign for Hardware design. In your datasheet, H2HET pin can use GIO mode. But HAL Code Generator tool can not select GIO mode. Please refer to the attachment files. If I use Input/output mode of H2HET[x] , How do I have setting?

Hi Zhonghui,

The GIO APIs can be used to drive, configure and read N2HET pins (When not used as timer pin).

For example, K18 is configured as N2HET1[00], you can use GIO APIs to drive this pin:

gioInit();

gioSetDirection(hetPORT1, 0x00000001); //N2HET1[0] as output

gioSetBit(hetPORT1, 0x0, 0x1); //Set N2HET1[0] to 0x1

To use GPIO mode, I have to make change code on source file ?
and Is not there editing method at HAL code generating tool?

Hi Zhonghui,

You don't need to modify the code generated by HALCoGen. No special configuration is needed for NHET to be used as GIO mode.

If you don't use NHET pins as timer function, but use them as GIO, you don't have to call hetInit(). GIO APIs can be used to control NHET pins. When using the GIO APIs, the hetPORTx should be used instead of gioPORTx.
