UNIFLASH: How to verify a specific memory address

Hi Experts,

We want to verify the programmed data for a specific area of internal memory. The target device is MSP430FR2155.

The application code updates some area so the verify is failed thus we want to exclude the updated area from verification. How can we do that?

Hello,

There's not a way to use UniFlash to verify a specific address. The Command Line Flasher has a --reset argument that mentions a reset is done after programming and verification.

Another approach would be to use fast mode in CCS.

CCS: What's the verify process when download image with CCS or Uniflash

If they are worried about programming integrity, then I would make the memory change manual and dependent on a certain trigger (either HW or SW) to confirm verification.
