RM48L952: Difference between CAN 2.0 A and CAN 2.0B

Part Number: RM48L952
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: HALCOGEN

Hi,

We use CAN communication in our system. From TRM of RM48L952, we understood the DCAN module supports both CAN Version 2.0 A and 2.0 B. The difference between both versions, CAN 2.0A supports only standard identifiers, and CAN 2.0B supports both standard and extended identifiers.

We are using halcogen software to generate the low-level driver for CAN interface. We want to know how to choose CAN 2.0A and CAN 2.0B in halcogen?

Also,

If we choose CAN 2.0B, how the halcogen generated driver code supports for the standard identifiers.

Regards,

Monish P
