I want to interface external SDRAM of 64MB through MSP432 EPI (External Peripheral Interface) using SDRAM mode of EPI . I want to send data from CPU to SDRAM via EPI module then where to write data (buffer/address) ? Also if I read data from external SDRAM where will I get this data ?( I mean the buffer or address location from where I can read it)

Hi Gary,

Thanks, I reffered the demo code shared by you. It seems that the data is written and read from EPI memory mapped location "#define SDRAM_MAPPING_ADDRESS 0x60000000"

So does it mean if i have 64MB SDRAM , i have to write data between 0x60000000 to 0x61FFFFFF (0x1FFFFFF) (32 MB ,16 bit data width)?

sdram16bitAddrPointer = (uint16_t *)0x60000000;

sdram16bitAddrPointer[SDRAM_START_ADDRESS] = 0xabcd;

how to confirm data is written to SDRAM ?

Main read and write operations can be performed in subsets of the range 0x6000.0000 to 0xDFFF.FFFF.

You can see in the demo it use UARTprintf function to show the value in host side.
