Hi,

I am using the Halcogen tool to generate PWM through HET1 (TMS570LS3137 - HDK board).
The maximum capability of the Halcogen tool is 8 for PWM generation configuration under HET1.

But my application needs more than 8. As per the datasheet, I could see that the TMS570LS3137 has capability of totally 32 input/output signal generations from the HET module.

Is there any possibility to configure for more than 8 PWM outputs via Halcogen?
If not, will I be able to generate more than 8 PWM output signals if I manually alter the HET1 driver related files?

Please provide me some information on this.

I could see that I am able to generate PWM outputs if the manual changes are brought to the HET1 driver files.
Could someone let me know whether this case can be resolved via Halcogen instead of depending on the manual changes?

Hi Sharmili,

Yes, the N2HET1 is able to generate up to 32 PWM signals at 32 N2HET pins. But the HALCoGen is developed to generate 8 PWM signals at 8 N2HET pins only. If you want to generate more than 8 PWM signals, you have to modify the code manually.

You can use HET IDE to generate new code, and load the new code to NHET RAM.
