MSP432P401R: Changing device package to 64 pin RGZ

Hello,

I created a custom product using the RGC package of the MSP432P401R. During my initial testing I used the MSP432P401R LaunchPad w/ empty sysconfig example project, but now that I am working with the custom hardware I need to modify sysconfig to use the 64 pin RGZ package.

How can I modify sysconfig to use this smaller package?

I think you can re-create sysconfig example project using RGC.

Thank you for your quick response. within sysconfig I dont see where I can modify the part package to use RGC. How can I re-create the sysconfig example project using the RGC package?

Johnson, this is using the standalone version of sysconfig? Are you saying I need to create a sysconfig file for the rgz variant of the msp432 and replace the existing sysconfig file in the msp432 example projects?

if this is the case, is there anything else I need to configure after replacing the .sysconfig file?

Yes, this is a standalone version of sysconfig.
