MSP432E401Y: MOSI and MISO pins were flipped

Part Number: MSP432E401Y

Hello Guys,

Good day.

Our customer have printed a lot of boards using MSP432E401Y. They noticed that MOSI and MISO pins might be flipped.

Can pin 37 and 38 MISO and MOSI be swapped ? for MSP432E401Y (SSI0).

Thanks and regards,

Art

  • Hi Art,

    Flipped is means what?

MISO and MOSI pin can't be swapped.

    Thanks!

    Best Regards

    Johnson

  • Hi Johnson,

    Additional information from the customer:

"in our design we PRINTED boards with (SPI) (SSI0) MSP432E401Y
MOSI on pin 37 PA4 (SSI module 0 bidirectional data pin 0)
MISO on pin 38 PA5 (SSI module 0 bidirectional data pin 1)

if PA4 and PA5 are bidirectional does it matter which pin is MOSI and MISO

project.syscfg is not letting me put MOSI on pin 37, and MISO on pin 38
project.syscfg forcing me to use MOSI on pin 38, and MISO on pin 37 (but we printed boards with MOSI on pin 37, and MISO on pin 38 )
Can i override this config through software ?"

    Thanks and regards,

    Art

  • Hi Art,

    Best Regards
