The Safety Manual (SPNU540A) mentiones the diagnostic PER5A "Boot Time Software Test of Basic Functionality Including Error Tests" in Appendix A. The "detailed" description of the diagnostic is in chapter 7.125 "Software Test of Function Including Error Test".
I am wondering what tests have to be done for the Perihperal Interconnect Subsystem?
I already checked the SafeTI Library for an implementation of the diagnostic. The Measures mentioned in the documentation of the library are slightly different that in the Safety Manual, but I guess the function "SL_SelfTest_MainPeripheralInterconnect" would implemnt the diagnostic.
Looking into the function there is only one test implemented, which checks that an access to a reserved location is correctly flagged.
(Q) Is testing the reserved access enough or is there something else that needs to be done?
