is there a way to increase the transfer groups on the SPI busses?, that is the number of bytes sent?

what is the maximum number of bytes I can enter into the "transfer group length" Halcogen setup?

have a 1Gbit SPI flash (S70FL01GS) that I want to connect to the Hercules to store a bunch of data.

Hi John,

The MibSPI1 transfer group supports up to 256 buffers, and other MibSPI modules support 128 buffers.

By default, the MibSPI1 supports up to 128 buffers for both TX and RX. To support 256 buffers, the Extended Buffer mode has to be enabled by writing 0xA to EXTENDED_BUF_ENA bit field of MIBSPIE register.
