Hello,

I have questions about the AM243x motor control solutions.

Are there sample code for the AM243x that controls a typical three-phase motor (BLDC)?

I checked the MCU+ SDK for AM243x (08.00.00.21) with Resource Explorer but couldn't find them.

Also, are there any plans to release AM243x motor control libraries such as C2000Ware and Hercules MotorWare?

I would like to get the AM243x benchmarks for motor control and see if I can expect performance as good as the C2000.

    Hi Mars,

    There is a single chip servo drive demo for AM243x. However due to the hardware dependency, it will be released as part of the MCU+ Academy, not part of the MCU+ SDK. With that demo software, you should be able to see the benchmarks for the servo drive for AM243x.

    Then, I would like to run benchmark tests using the MCU+ Academy demo software.

    When will the MCU+ Academy, which includes the servo drive demo, be released?

    I checked the latest MCU+ Academy(1.00.00.04), but the servo drive demo was not included.

    Hi Mars,

    Since the Single chip servo demo runs on a specific hardware environment, we only have limited setups around. Most of the components for the demo setup are not orderable on TI website, therefore the demo in MCU+ Academy is most likely in source code and an application note which is scheduled in 4Q 2021.
