LP-AM243: cannot establish connection

Hello Guys,

Good day.

Our customer is using LP-AM243 together with a MAC OS. The "out-of-the-box" experience cannot establish a connection with the board via the USB debug port. It says ports are available but never connects. He thought maybe it was missing a driver, so he install the IDE, but it also doesn't have support for the Sitara chip set. What could we be missing?

I had the same error, when trying to run the LP-AM243 together with Windows. Turns out the the LP-AM243 didn't have the SOC initialization binary pre-flashed. Following the information in LP-AM243: LP-AM243x was able to flash the SOC initialization binary and then the "out-of-the-box" experience connected.
