Hello TI team,

Starting from a AM6441 17x17mm (ALV) based project, I'm now trying to modify and adapt my design for AM2432 11x11mm (ALX) micro.

I found on your website the electric symbol and its relative footprint, but in order to evaluate new components placement I'd like to include the 3D .step file into Altium design.

Can you please provide me?

Hi Flavio,

Normally our Ultra Librarian releases export the 3D model for the devices along with the footprint and symbol. In this case, I see it is missing. I'll get this addressed long term. But for now, please see the attached STEP model of the ALX package. Please let me know if this works for you.

Hi Randy,

thank you for the quick reply. It fits in the 2D footprint. I just have a doubt regarding the orientation of the model. Do you expect the step file you attached has the top-left corner already aligned to A-1 ball of the BGA? I ask this because if you rotate 180° the 3D model you obtain (again) a possible valid match with the 2D footprint. Below how it looks like if I simply place the model as it comes. Can you confirm this?
