Team,

The TMS570 reference manual references saving the debug registers before doing the CPU self test. Do you have example code for doing this?

Also, to implement the CPU self test there is sample TI assemble code Demo_Software_Ver1_1 - sys_core.asm. Do you have an IAR version of this code for the TMS570?

I'm looking into this and will get back to you.

Saving the debug register would generally mean to copy the debug register values to a known RAM location.

I doubt if we have demo sample codes with IAR , but there should be HalCoGen support for IAR , let me check.

1. generated code by halcogen is not compatibility iar or keil.

2. i try to migrate Demo_Software_Ver1_1 to iar or keil last year, but failed!

i found that some asm pseudo-instruction in Demo_Software_Ver1_1 didn't support by iar or keil.

All,

In addition to the TI tools, the latest version of HALCoGen supports IAR and ARM tools too. When creating a New Project you can choose which tools the project is for.

Try it out.
