LP-AM243: Schematic inquiry: No isolation operation is seen at the power supply input

Hi Expert，

     No isolation operation is seen at the power supply input.  the Type C Connector for Power Input & USB2.0 as below:

    Generally, there is a power supply isolation for the external input interface, why is it unnecessary for AM243X-LP?

    Hi Shaoxing,

    The typical usecase for the the LP-AM243 is assumed to be a desk/bench top where both the LaunchPad and the PC connected to the XDS110 are powered from the same source, sharing the same reference ground.  In scenarios where the laptop or PC supports 5V/3A USB Type C sourcing, the LaunchPad can even be powered directly from the laptop and not require a standalone power supply.  In such a case, isolating these connections on the LaunchPad is not necessary, which is why it was left off the design.
