The hardware implementation of the AES alt implementation in mbed tls is enabled by default. This is controlled by the definition of MBEDTLS_AES_ALT in simplelink_msp432e4_sdk_4_20_00_12\source\third_party\mbedtls\ti\configs\config-msp432e4.h. It may be worth verifying that the above #define is set in your version of the code.

If you're interested in further debug to verify, the source implementation is at simplelink_msp432e4_sdk_4_20_00_12\source\third_party\mbedtls\ti\port\aes_alt.c  when MBEDTLS_AES_ALT is defined.

I debugged to find AES alt implementation is executed.

HTTPS server is slow with mbedtls AES alt implementation enabled
