TM4C1294KCPDT: Watchdog Timer - Reset

Hi,

   i Need to check my program execution every 1s once through watchdog timer ..Suppose program gets Stuck up anywhare I need to wait for 200ms then  have to reset my  controller ...i have gone through the watchdog example code given by TI.

 From this i understand that every 1 s once interupt will be called so watchdog timer gets reset but controller wont get reset . In that interrupt function inside there is flag its doesnt become true the watchdog timer will reset the microcotroller after 2s .Am I correct?

    Yes this is correct. The second interrupt will trigger the reset. The first timeout triggers the watchdog interrupt to occur by setting the interrupt flag. If that interrupt flag is then not cleared by the time the next timeout occurs, then the timeout triggers a system reset instead.
