TM4C1294NCPDT: Chip serial port idle interrupt configuration

Hi team,

The customer would like to know if it's ok for the serial port of this chip be configured as an idle interrupt, or can the serial DMA be configured to receive data in unfixed bytes?

Could you help check this case? Thanks.

Hi Cherry,

Depending what idle interrupt you are referring to, there is a Receive Timeout interrupt that you can use if the data in the FIFO is not read by the processor in time.
