TMS570LS1224: F021 library for IAR 8.5

F021 is a precompiled library. It was built using TI's code generation tools for ARM v5.1.3.

We need to update IAR compiler/linker from v7.4 to v8.5. 

There seems to be a problem with Wchar size and THUMB calls.

We need to get the library compiled with following parameters (best compiled in IAR v8.x):

- ARM mode instead of THUMB

- wchar size of 32

Who can I contact to obtain this library?

    Hi Jan,

    TI does not normally distribute the source code. The reason for this is modifying the code can potentially impact the flash in the devices. A modified API must not be used in an application. For creating a flash programming solution, the flash API library must be used as provided by TI.

    In situations where the user has a justifiable and legitimate need for the source code for certification purposes, it can be provided under a signed license agreement with TI. 

    wchar is a known issue in the current F021 flash API release. But we don't have plan to release a new version of F021 flash library. To get the source code, please contact with TI local sale directly. We only

    Hi,

    thanks for response, However it looks like the message is incomplete.

    From what you wrote I understand that if we want working lib we need to go through direct channels, not this forum.

    Is this correct?

    Hi Jan,

    The Flash library is downloadable from ti.com. To get the source code, you need to go through direct channel rather than E2E forum.
