Hi,
The on-board debug probe is called ICDI. In CCS, you need to specify Stellaris In-Circuit Debug Interface.
If you want to use the debug probe on the EK-TM4C123GXL to debug out another board, use this app note for reference in section 4.6.

The Stellaris In-Circuit Debug Interface (IDCI) on the EK-TM4C123GXL only supports microcontrollers with a Cortex-M3 or Cortex-M4 CPU, so C2000 MCU's aren't supported.
If you open the Target Configuration editor in CCS, and select Stellaris In-Circuit Interface as the Connection, then you can see the supported devices:
