TMS570LS3137: Debug Dap problem (Error -241 @ 0x0)

Hi everyone, 

I have "Hercules TMS570LS31x/21x Development Kit".

I suddenly sapareted power jack while system is in debug (not sure).

Then i supplied with power jack my board again but debug did not connect my board.

D2(JTAG-TDI pin) led always blink on board.

 I share screenshot about problem.

Please can you help me.

    Can you please provide more details? What do you mean "sapareted power jack"?

    Does D12 get ON when the USB cable is connected? Did you check the power supplies on the board:1.2V, and 3.3V?

    Yes. D12 lights up when I connect the usb cable.

    I checked 1.2V and 3.3V and there was no problem.

    I pulled the power jack and usb cable that I marked in the picture during debug.

    Hi Fatih,

    Have you programmed a working project to the device before? After you power up the board, is the nERROR led turned on? I'd like to know if the MCU works or not.

    Can you try this way?

    1. The JTAG connection is lost after the program is loaded to flash.

      The problem might be caused by the code you have programmed. The code in the flash makes the CPU enter an exception state repeatedly, and the CPU is not able to enter a debug state.

      Please try this procedure to let CPU enter a debug state:

      1. Open the target configuration window, and launch the selected the configuration
      2. Switch to debug window.
      3. Press the reset (nRST) button and hold it.
      4. Click “Connect Target” immediately after you release the nRST button.
      5. The board should be connected after couple tries.

    Hi QJ Wang,

    Yes, we have loaded a program that runs multiple times on the board.

    When we energize the board, the nERROR led does not light.

    If we press the PORRST button, the nERROR led lights

    We tried the your solution and suggestion many times, but unfortunately it didn't solve my problem.
