TM4C1230C3PM: Inquiry

Part Number: TM4C1230C3PM
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SYSCONFIG

Hi,

Good Day. I have a customer who is working with TM4C1230C3PM. Please see below his query for your reference. Thank you very much.

First Question
I am working with TM4C1230C3PM: High performance 32-bit ARM® Cortex®-M4F based MCU.
Can you advise working with this microcontroller new product developments?
How long is this microcontroller?

Second Question
I am using to development with your CCS tool.
Do you have microcontroller Pin configuration tools? (Same: MCUxpress -> NXP or STM32CUBE IDE --> ST)

Third Question.
This project, I am using TFT LCD with ST7735S via SPI. Could you advise any GUI (Graphical user interface) tools edition for embedded system?

Best Regards,

Ray Vincent

  • Hello Ray,

    How long is this microcontroller?

Yes, our TM4C portfolio is an active product family that we are continuing to support with added collateral as these devices are very popular and used broadly. We have no plans to discontinue this family and it is largely targeted towards industrial applications which run for minimum 5-10 years.

I am using to development with your CCS tool.
Do you have microcontroller Pin configuration tools? (Same: MCUxpress -> NXP or STM32CUBE IDE --> ST)

    Yes, we have SysConfig: https://www.ti.com/tool/SYSCONFIG

We don't have a dedicated GUI tool, but we did release an application report this year which covers how to use our Graphics Library for TM4C with TFT LCDs that should prove to be very helpful for your development: https://www.ti.com/lit/pdf/spma082
