Dear teams,

Could I ask how PROFINENT IRT has been authorized into AM243X? Is it meats customer get the authorization for PROFINENT IRT once they bought it? Based on our BU's slide, I found we have PROFINENT device in Oct 21 for MCU+SDK 8.1. Is that means must to use SDK8.1 as well?

    Hi Dylan,

    The Profinet support comes with the chip type "F" which means fully support all 4 Industrial communication stacks (Profinet, EtherCat, EtherNet and IO Linik). As far I know, the Profinet IRT support is delayed to mid of 2022.
