Basically the same question as in the linked one:

CCS/MSP432E401Y: using syscfg for USB bulk mode not creating expected ti_usblib_config.h scaffolding

I am trying to use the MSP432E401Y USB in HID mode (Generic device type). The generated header file ti_usblib_config.h does not have the required external declarations of the callback functions and the event handler data buffers.
