Does anyone know OMAPL137 function on TMDX570LS20SMDK MCU board ?

I got TMS570 MDK MCU Board Schematics.pdf from http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/TMS570_MDK_Kit, but i could not find OMAL137 part number?

BTW, TMS570 is a two core Cortex-R, how these two core startup process when power on?

Yes, TMS570 has 2 Cortex-R4 cores. As the 2 cores are in lockstep, the application/user sees only one. Coming out of reset already these cores are in lockstep and no special application code is required for that.

Thanks, what is the meaning of lockstep?

Does one core run and another core monitor the first core? If just as only one core? How about two core working task arrangement?

The TMS570 has a fixed lockstep configuration and does not offer the option of using the 2 cores independently.
