Two questions

MCAL for this uC is it ASIL rated?
For Hardware CRC Safety Mehcanisms - there is a mention of Golden CRC. I need more information on this like how to generate this, where it will be generated (in Application or autmatically in SafeTILibrary). please share relevant document

Hi Navneet,

1. The MCAL driver itself was not certified. It's development process was certified by TUV:

spnq003_QRAS AP2P00213.pdf

2. The golden CRC can be generated by any tool including the HW CRC module on TMS570. The golden value of the CRC can be stored in flash or EEPROM.

SL_CRC_Calculate() in SafeTILibrary can be used to calculate the CRC.

Thanks for your reply. Additional queries -

1)we received HALCoGen_Software_Safety_Manual.pdf from TI mysecureAcess. But we are using Autosar based MCAL, can we get similar document for Autosar MCAL.

2)Also, we need to understand the integration process of SafeTILibrary with Autosar based MCAL. Is there any document available.

Hi Navneet,

1. You can download the MCAL drive from TI mysecureAcess. The user guide for each module driver (for example SPI, CAN, GIO, etc) are located in the driver folders.

I don't have experience of integrating SDL to AutoSar complex driver.
