TM4C1294NCPDT: XDS110 Processor remains in the Reset State

Hi Team,

Can you please check and advise with following request?

In order to be able to program and debug the processor with part number TM4C1294NCPDT, we purchased 2 debuggers numbered XDS110. We are working with one of these debuggers without any problems, but with the other we can install software and debug, while this debugger is connected to the system, the processor remains in the RESET state. When we remove it, it continues to work normally. We have searched for this issue in various forums but could not find a solution. Is there anyone who can help with the issue? Thank you.

    What you are saying is that you have two debuggers and one board. One XDS110 debug probe is working while the other XDS110 debugger is not working when connected to the target board. Is that a correct understanding?

    How do you know the processor is in RESET state or it just appears to be in RESET state?

    Can you check a few things?

      - On the nRESET pin to the JTAG connector, do you have a pull up resistor? See below. 

      - Click on your target configuration file and do a JTAG scan test. See below example. What is the test result?

      - Do you have another board? Can you use the non-working XDS110 to connect and debug this other board if you have one?
