UNIFLASH: Unable to Install on Mac M1

Part Number: UNIFLASH

Hello,

I'm attempting to install the Uniflash application. I keep getting the screen below; unable to do anything. Is there a fix for this?

Thank you

  • Wilmer,

Which version of UniFlash is this?

This looks like an issue that we saw with Code Composer Studio after macOS monterey came out where there was a change that broke M1 support in the installer.   I was able to install UniFlash (7.0) on my mac M1 ok.

    Regards,

    John

  • Ok I just downloaded UniFLash 7.1 and I can see the same thing.  I am going to see if I can find a workaround.  When we say this with CCS I was able to work around the problem by running the x86_64 installer.

  • Yes appears to be the same problem.  Here is how to work around it.

Run the dmg but then control-click to bring up the context menu and select Show package contents

Then browse to here and select to run the x86_64 installer.

We fixed this in the CCS installer but it looks like the UniFlash installer did not pick up the change.  I will file a bug to get that resolved.

    Regards,

    John
