AM2432: Functional Safety is for Cyber security requirement?

Part Number: AM2432

Hi Expert,

I need to decide on the part number of AM2432 for our project. Since Cyber security is one of the requirements for our product, I think "Functional Safety" and "Security - secure" should be chosen for this requirement. Is it correct?

I think "AM2432BSFFHAALVR" is the part number for our project for the reasons below,

  • S: maximum speed
  • F: ethernet/IP stack
  • F: Functional Safety (for cyber security ?)
  • H: Security - secure (for cyber security ?)
  • AVL: ball type

Could you please let me know this choice is correct for our project? I would appreciate it if you share your knowledge about "Functional Safety" and "Security - secure" as well.

Regards,

Moonil

  • Yes, "AM2432BSFFHAALVR"  is correct part number for device with support for Functional Safety and Security.

  • Correction. Correct part number is AM2432BSFFHIALVR number to enable the full stack, safety and security features based on newest AM243x OPN list. Temperature grade was updated to 125C, thus the reason for change from "A" to “I”.
