UNIFLASH: Delete action before writing program

Hello experts,

I got question about UniFlash when writing with MSP430.

If we want to add delete action before writing program, can we add check on checkbox of "On connect, erase main, information, and IP protected area" in Setting & Utilities/Connection section?

We are not sure it is enabled or not because we can't see any log.
I would appreciate if you would give me comment it is OK or not.

Also, do you have any manual for UniFlash except Quick Start Guide?

Hi Ryo,

Which device you are using. You can configure the download option: eras main memory.

Device is MSP430FR6979.
If we check "erase main memory (or others)", we can delete before writing program?
What is the difference between erase option in "Connection" and "Download" section?

Also, do you have any other manual for UniFlash?

Hi Ryo,

If you select in "connection" when you connect the device all the memory listed will be erased. I think you want to eras memory before program option, you need choose in the "download" and select the memory sector you want to eras(I show you previously).
