In the current SDK there is only block erase functionality for the nor flash driver implemented (flashBlkErase()). For a faster and convenient flash access we also need the subsector erase functionality (4KB and 32KB sector size). Subsector erase is much faster than a block erase command.
Have a look at the timing diagram:
It would be a great effort if you can provide this functionality in the coming SDK release.
