RM57L843: PWM signal issue

Part Number: RM57L843

Hi team,

Here's an issue from the customer may need your help:

When debugging the N2HET module, there is no PWM output signal as long as the emulator is plugged in for online debugging, power down and power up, PWM is available.

The other MCU in the dual channel burns the same program, without an emulator, there is a pulse signal. The customer would like to know what's the reason for that? Does the N2HET module not operate when the emulator is debugging online?

Could you help check this case? Thanks.

Best Regards,

Cherry

  • Hi Cherry,

When the host CPU debugger hits a breakpoint, the CPU sends a suspend signal to the modules. If the "IS" bit of GCR register is cleared, when a suspend is issued, the timer operation stops at the end of the current timer instruction.

Please check if IS of GCR register is cleared or set
