Hi Arm-based MCU Expert,
We're using MSP432E401Y MCU for our PMIC EVMs and found the part is out of stock. We're now planning to design another stock EVM.
Would you please recommend another TI Arm-based MCU with which we can make some firmware changes and still use the existing same GUI?
BTW, we picked MSP432E401Y as PMIC MCU 2 years ago since it supports 3.4MHz I2C speed. The new socket EVM design doesn't need the 3.4MHz I2C speed; but need the MCU has USB connection with PC.
Thanks!
Phil
Launchpads with a XDS110 emulator use either a TM4C129ENCPDT or MSP432E401Y. As per TM4C129ENCPDT: TM4C129ENCPDT-MSP432E401Y differences: Are there any? think these are compatible parts.
Which GUI are you using?
Hi Chester,
Thanks for the reply! Linked below is the GUI we're using. The TM4C129ENCPDT is also not available. Do you have other simpler one since we need only USB port, two I2C ports and a few GPIOs? Like TM4C123FH6PMI7?

Hello Phil,
We are not able to answer any questions about availability on E2E beyond pointing to what is available in the TI store: https://www.ti.com/microcontrollers-mcus-processors/microcontrollers/arm-based-microcontrollers/products.html#p887=Arm%20Cortex-M4F&sort=p3318;desc
Please reach out directly for more information.
