The RM57L843 device itself only has a 10/100 MbE connection possible as it uses an MII interface. Is there a recommend way of transitioning to a 1GbE as not all the servers we connect our hardware to can auto-negotiate down to to 100MbE so we are having to fit specific network cards rather than just use onboard ones.
We also get round the problem by using an external switch (Netgear GS108) and are contemplating putting one inside the unit but it does seem overkill if there's a neater solution that doesn't involve a 5 port switch.
