Hi Experts,
The Safety Manual of the TMS570LC4357 does not give much information what RAM12 and RAM17 are supposed to be.
My current guess is, that RAM12 suggest testing ECC for single bit and double bit erros with a equality test and RAM17 suggest testing the Address decode with inequality and equality test.
(Q1) Is this correct?
Thank you and best regards,
Max
Hi Max,
This is for RAM17: self-test the comparator
e2e.ti.com/.../tms570lc4357-when-does-ram17-diagnostic-signal-an-error-to-esm
For RAM12, It includes the comparator test and ECC test
1. comparator test: same as RAM17
2. ECC test: write values to DIAG_ECC, DIAG_DATA_VECTOR_L and DIAG_DATA_VECTOR_H registers to generate 1-bit or 2-bit ECC error
