RM44L520: Issues configuring assigned pin for use as GPIO

Hello all,

I have a board I am developing firmware for and one of the LEDs is connected to pin 58, which seems to be configured for use as the ADC1 Event pin. The data sheet says this pin can also be configured as GPIO, but when going into Halcogen, there doesn't seem to be any option to configure this pin for use as GPIO. I was wondering if there is some setting I am missing in Halcogen to properly configure this pin for GPIO or if this is something I need to do manually within code composer studio. I'm happy to provide any additional information if what I have posted here isn't sufficient.

Hi Andrew,

On RM44L820 device, the pin 55 and pin 86 are used as AD2EVT and AD1EVT. The Pin 58 is AD1IN[16] which can not be used as GIO pin. Both AD1EVT and AD2EVT pins can be used as GIO pins, please refer to section "ADEVT Pin General Purpose I/O Functionality" in TRM.

I am using the RM44L520 rather than the RM44L820, so based off the data sheet I do believe pin 58 is used for ADEVT. I will look into that document and see if it resolves my issue. Thanks
