AM2432: Datasheet Chapter 9.1 Under Development Content

One of my customers has a question about datasheet Rev. B (the most current one is Rev. C).

They were wondering what kind of content would be released under this section and when. Is there an equivalent to this section in the Rev.C that I can point them to?

Hello Mari,

Thank you for your patience regarding this matter. After an internal discussion, it was decided that this section was incorrectly included. Since there is no relevant design/source content, we will be removing this section (9.1 Power Supply Mapping) from the next release of the datasheet.

Hey Mari,

The original information was in regards to PMIC compatibility. This content has been moved to the Applications, Implementation, and Layout section of the datasheet. I have included excerpt below that will be included in the upcoming AM243x Datasheet release.

Power Distribution Network Implementation Guidance
The Sitara Processor Power Distribution Networks: Implementation and Analysis provides guidance for successful implementation of the power distribution network. This includes PCB stackup guidance as well as guidance for optimizing the selection and placement of the decoupling capacitors. TI only supports designs that follow the board design guidelines contained in the application report.
The TPS6521855 Power Management IC (PMIC) is recommended for an integrated AM243x power solution. This cost and space optimized solution is designed to power the AM64x and AM243x processors and their principal peripherals. For the full application note and operational details, refer to (SLDA059, Using LP8733xx and TPS65218xx PMICs to Power AM64x and AM243x Sitara Processors).
