RM44L520: Pin 118 failed and always being high level

Hi team

Our customer is using RM44 for their main control board as safety MCU, but they found some strange case recently. The application circuit is as blow, the Pin 118 of some pieces of RM44 always keeps high level even the TC74VHC14 output is low. The configuration of IO is also attached as below.

Hi Shaofeng,

The Pin 118 is configured as INPUT without internal pull-up, so the pin setting should not affect the input signal.

Do you call hetInit() to initialize the NHET module? If yes, can you comment out the following instruction in hetInit()?

// (void)memcpy((void *)hetRAM2, (const void *)het2PROGRAM, sizeof(het2PROGRAM));

(void)memcpy((void *)hetRAM2, (const void *)het2PROGRAM, sizeof(het2PROGRAM));

This instruction will copy the het1PROGRAM[58U] to N2HET RAM. Those N2HET instructions (in het1PROGRAM) will generate PWM signals at some N2HET pins and capture signals at some other pins.
